Service Description

This project based course will teach students how to use simple Samoan phrases in context of church, family, community, and social settings. This course links to the previous course on "Pacific Migration." Brian is originally from the States, but over time, he has learned simple Samoan phrases to use in different settings. You will learn his same techniques to be relevant, genuine, and present in Samoan settings. Here, we will also learn how to use simple prayers. Prayers are important and significant in all Samoan settings, not only because of it's spiritual significance, but also of it's cultural relevancy. Come join us! You will learn the basics here in this one week crash course on Language and Culture Use.
